Day 10: Sea Ahoy!

I took this shot on Pangkor Island, Malaysia as a part of my ride on a BMW R1200. Seen here is a Modenas step through. Modenas is a very popular brand in Malaysia and can be found in every nook and cranny there is.

Day 9: AquaWay

Caught this just before a boat in Venice sails below the footbridge that I was standing on. This was a part of The Great Italian Roadtrip in 2010 on two Ducatis.

Day 8: Jan 8th: The Path

Sometimes the path that you take is not the obvious one. Seen here is the Duke 990 in Austria on a ‘cycle trail’ just before sunset. This one was one hell of a bike!

Jan 7 : Pit Stop

This one’s called the PitStop, and it was. After a few hundred kms of riding the group of fourteen superbikes stopped in Lansdowne, Uttranchal. This group of Superbikers is called the FreeRiders and they are based in Delhi, India. Taken in 2008.

Jan 6th : The Bridge

A chilly evening in San Francisco with the CLS 63 and the Diavel made for a perfect foreground for the amazing backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge. The top engulfed in fog made it even more dramatic!

Jan 5: Splash!

Bhandhardhara Dam, Maharashtra India. A trip on a Ducati 796 and a Multistrada. The dam waters usually overflow over and across the main roads leading to this small village in the interiors of Maharashtra, the state whose capital is Mumbai.

Jan4: Where the Streets Have a Name

10 PM, almost middle of the night in the remote village of Casteluccio in the Norcia region of Italy. The entire village was built from stones and perched on a hill. The night was cold and chilly. There was not a soul in sight and the lighting was perfect. It seemed that the entire village was a studio for just us and the bike, which in this case was the Ducati Streetfighter, one of the most beautiful bikes I have set my eyes on.

A few more pictures from the same day:

Here is the approach to Casteluccio at 9 PM in the night:

Jan 3: RokStar

Rok Bagaros in Slovenia

This is Rok Bagaros, an upcoming stunter from a small town in Slovenia. This photo was shot during my ride on the KTM Adventure 990 in Europe in July 2011. Here Rok can be seen sitting in his garage and the KTM125 in the background. Later on we went to the town of Maruska Sabato where I witnessed some fireworks from Rok and his KTM!

I took this photo sitting on the back of a Ducati Elefant. The dual stack exhaust that you se are of the Diavel’s and the car is a Mercedes AMG CLS 63 2012. This is somewhere near Seattle in September 2011.

The Story behind this photo

As I was riding from Canberra to Sydney on a country road, I entered a village zone where I slowed down. As I was admiring the pretty rolling hills something caught my eye. It was a small airfield with a dirt runway. On its side there were some beautiful horses. One of them was pure white, and the other jet black. My neurons did not had to work hard enough to realize that it is not everyday you get to ride a beautiful white MultiStrada and you also see a beautiful white horse *besides* a road. So no trolling into farms and no trespassing signs. There I went, after some careful maneuvering I parket my MultuStrada just besides the fence that had the beautiful mammals on the other side. Lucky for me, they were used to humans and both of them came strutting down to me, almost nibbling on the MultiStrada as if it almost knew it had 160 odd horses hidden inside it somewhere for company. I just backed a little and shot away using my Canon 5D with the 70-200mm f2.8. This is one photo moment I will cherish forever!
